Jason Buglass

Jason has been providing implant dentistry since 1993 and has placed over 3,000 implants. In addition to working at Oracle’s practice in Shrewsbury, Jason regularly lectures to dental practitioners throughout the UK and abroad and as clinical director of Dentale, an innovative training organisation, has run dedicated implant dentistry courses for the past ten years.

Stephen Garner

Implants and Oral Surgery - Oracle, Stafford

Stephen’s expertise lies in oral surgery and implants, and he has extensive experience in both hospital and practice environments. Stephen held the post of Associate Specialist to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at North Staffordshire Royal for 15 years and since then has placed over 2,000 implants.

Amit Patel

Implants and Periodontics - Grace House, Birmingham

Amit has a particular interest in dental implants, regenerative, and aesthetic Periodontics. He became a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons in 2000 and subsequently undertook a four year specialist training programme in Periodontics at Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Dental Institute. Amit is an Associate Specialist in Periodontics and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham Dental School. He has been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and has lectured to dental practitioners UK-wide. 

Richard Oliver

Richard’s clinical practice and research have largely been in the field of dental implants, bone grafting and major oral surgery. He has published over 50 papers, co-authored a text book and has recently been appointed to the Editorial Board of Dental Update.

He is an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and is on the Advisory Board for Oral Surgery for the College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is also an examiner and on the committee for the post-qualification certificate in Dental Sedation for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses.

Jeremy Edmondson

Endodontics - Oracle, Shrewsbury & Stafford

Working across Oracle’s practices in Shrewsbury and Stafford, Jeremy offers extensive expertise in endodontics. Prior to joining Oracle, Jeremy spent 18 years in the Armed Forces providing an endodontic referral service to HRH, Special Forces and the Parachute Regiment in the UK, Germany and Iraq, as well as post-graduate lecturing. He is a member of the British Endodontics Society.

Dr Chaido Akrivopoulou

Periodonist and Implant Surgeon - Oracle, Shrewsbury & Stafford

Dr Chaido Akrivopoulou graduated from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany in 2005. After gaining valuable experience in general dentistry and oral surgery in private practice in Frankfurt, Chaido moved to the UK. In 2007 she was selected for the specialist training in Periodontology at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute (University College London), which she has successfully completed. This is one of the very few programmes in Europe and the only one in the UK, which are recognized from the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). In 2009 Chaido was appointed as a part time Honorary Clinical Assistant in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Hospital. She is also actively involved in research, both in the field of clinical oral microbiology and in implant dentistry. Chaido is about to complete her Doctorate thesis on the survival and success of fixed partial dentures on Ankylos® implants. 

Mark Lester

Restorative Dentistry - Oracle, Shrewsbury & Stafford

Mark is originally from Manchester, he graduated from Bristol University in 2000. He spent 2 years working at Plymouth Hospital as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a period at Cardiff Dental Hospital as a Senior House Officer in the Restorative Department. Following this he undertook an MSc in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at Manchester University followed by specialist training in Prosthodontics leading to an MRD.

Mark has been actively involved in research both in resin bonded bridges and the effects of Carisolv gel on deciduous dentine. His study on the latter was published in 2000.

Gillian Cottam

Invisalign - Oracle, Shrewsbury 

Gillian is an orthodontist and a platinum status Invisalign practitioner, having been an advocate of Invisalign since its first introduction into the UK in 2004. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics and membership secretary of the Orthodontic Specialist group, as well as a member of the Development and Standards Committee, of the British Orthodontic Society.

Frankie Reid

Anaesthetist - Oracle, Shrewsbury & Stafford and Grace House, Birmingham

Frankie has been an anaesthetist at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for over 20 years and is available for patients requiring treatment under sedation. She is registered with the GMC.

Khalid Malik
BDS MFDS RCS Eng
Endodontics - Grace House, Birmingham

Khalid is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Peterborough Hospital and on the General Dental Council’s specialist lists in Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Endodontics.  He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is a member of the British Endodontic Society and International Team of Implantologists. He has published papers and lectured at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and also runs a number of hands-on courses for general dental practitioners.

Kevin Bruce
BDS (Glas) FDSRCS (Eng)
Implants & Oral Surgery - Oracle, Bristol

Kevin trained and worked in oral and maxillofacial surgery within the hospital service and gained his Fellowship in Dental Surgery in 1999. As well as his years within the hospital environment, Kevin has undertaken extensive postgraduate training across Europe and the USA in implant dentistry and its associated procedures. Kevin combines implant dentistry with the growing demand for cosmetic procedures and has trained under world famous cosmetic dentist
Dr Larry Rosenthal in both London and New York. He is a partner in a private practice in Glasgow, and also works throughout the UK and Northern Ireland mentoring dentists and placing dental implants.

Chantelle Wilkinson

Chantelle qualified from the Birmingham School of Hygiene in 2001 and has vast experience in the treatment of periodontal disease, along with the provision of oral hygiene care to patients who have undergone extensive oral rehabilitation, in the form of dental implants and specialist restorative dentistry. She is also a member of the British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists.
