Jason has been providing implant dentistry since 1993 and has placed over 3,000 implants. In addition to working at Oracle’s practice in Shrewsbury, Jason regularly lectures to dental practitioners throughout the UK and abroad and as clinical director of Dentale, an innovative training organisation, has run dedicated implant dentistry courses for the past ten years.

Kevin trained and worked in oral and maxillofacial surgery within the hospital service and gained his Fellowship in Dental Surgery in 1999. As well as his years within the hospital environment, Kevin has undertaken extensive postgraduate training across Europe and the USA in implant dentistry and its associated procedures. Kevin combines implant dentistry with the growing demand for cosmetic procedures and has trained under world famous cosmetic dentist
Dr Larry Rosenthal in both London and New York. He is a partner in a private practice in Glasgow, and also works throughout the UK and Northern Ireland mentoring dentists and placing dental implants.

Keith Webster BDS MBBS FDS FRCS FRCS(OMFS) MMedSci PGCE is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham having qualified in dentistry from Liverpool and Medicine from Guy’s in London.

He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Birmingham Dental School and has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. His experience in implants is based about restoring the dentition of patients suffering from head and neck cancer and skin cancer. He is an examiner for the Diploma in Dental Implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons.

 

 

 

Dr Chaido Akrivopoulou

Dr Chaido Akrivopoulou graduated from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany in 2005. After gaining valuable experience in general dentistry and oral surgery in private practice in Frankfurt, Chaido moved to the UK. In 2007 she was selected for the specialist training in Periodontology at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute (University College London), which she has successfully completed. This is one of the very few programmes in Europe and the only one in the UK, which are recognized from the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). In 2009 Chaido was appointed as a part time Honorary Clinical Assistant in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Hospital. She is also actively involved in research, both in the field of clinical oral microbiology and in implant dentistry. Chaido is about to complete her Doctorate thesis on the survival and success of fixed partial dentures on Ankylos® implants. 

 

 


John Shapter

John ran a group of practices in the Midlands for 25 years before moving to a Scottish Island providing care for adults in a remote setting. Without the ability to refer patients for specialist services, he found an interest in Preventative Dentistry, Periodontics and Endodontics. Having returned to England, he continued his postgraduate education and has been providing Special Interest Endodontic services to a group of practices in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire building up considerable experience. He also teaches and writes about Clinical Governance and is an Expert Witness in General Dentistry.

Feri graduated from Bucharest University, School of Dentistry in 2004. As an undergraduate, his specialist area of study was periodontics and periodontally driven implant surgery. After graduating, his dental education has taken him across Europe (Budapest, Bern, Madrid, Milan, Ulm, Stockholm) and the USA (Boston) involving advanced courses in Regenerative Periodontal Therapy, receiving in 2009 the Academic degree Master of Oral Medicine in Implantology at the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Munster/Germany. In February 2013, Feri launched his new project: 'Live Perio UK', a live surgery and hands on event aiming to guide clinicians through the steps of regenerative periodontal surgery. .

Mark is originally from Manchester, he graduated from Bristol University in 2000. He spent 2 years working at Plymouth Hospital as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a period at Cardiff Dental Hospital as a Senior House Officer in the Restorative Department. Following this he undertook an MSc in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at Manchester University followed by specialist training in Prosthodontics leading to an MRD.Mark has been actively involved in research both in resin bonded bridges and the effects of Carisolv gel on deciduous dentine. His study on the latter was published in 2000.

Gillian is an orthodontist and a platinum status Invisalign practitioner, having been an advocate of Invisalign since its first introduction into the UK in 2004. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics and membership secretary of the Orthodontic Specialist group, as well as a member of the Development and Standards Committee, of the British Orthodontic Society.

Frankie has been an anaesthetist at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for over 20 years and is available for patients requiring treatment under sedation. She is registered with the GMC.



Chantelle Wilkinson

Chantelle qualified from the Birmingham School of Hygiene in 2001 and has vast experience in the treatment of periodontal disease, along with the provision of oral hygiene care to patients who have undergone extensive oral rehabilitation, in the form of dental implants and specialist restorative dentistry. She is also a member of the British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists.

Whilst primarily focused on General dentistry Estelle has a special interest in crown, bridgework and aesthetic dentistry. She enjoys helping patients who are nervous about attending the dentist, and aspires to make yours and your family’s visit to the dentist as relaxing as possible. Estelle is based at our Stafford and Telford Clinics.

Gina is originally from Shropshire where she worked as a dental nurse for 7 years. Striving for more, she moved to Liverpool where she graduated as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist from the University of Liverpool in 2012 and has additionally gained qualifications in both in-surgery and at home teeth whitening.
Experienced in treating patients with advanced gum disease, her special interests are implant maintenance and anxious patients. Gina understands that everybody is different, so tailors all treatment to each individual patient.

Gina says she takes great pride in her work and enjoys her job most when she can make patients feel more confident and comfortable not only with dental treatment but their smile too.

Dr Martyn Cox, BSc (Honours) in Immunology & Cell Biology, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS – University of Bristol), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD in Molecular Oncology). Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (FRSM). Dr Cox has an extensive research history in the field of oral cancer with over 60 publications in prestigous, international peer-reviewed publications, including Oral Oncology textbooks, and has lectured extensively in the USA & Europe. Over the past 20 years, Dr Cox has developed a interest in the field of Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry including guided bone regeneration & Botox techniques, having trained in Boston (USA), and Harley Street (UK).
