Orthodontics

Orthodontics is a specialist area of dentistry concerned with the straightening of teeth. Invisalign is the clear way to straighten teeth using a series of aligners which are changed every two weeks. The aligners work through slow steady pressure and each has a slightly different movement. Aligners need to be removed when eating and drinking anything other than still water and the teeth need to be thoroughly cleaned before the aligners are refitted.

Accurate impressions and photographs are taken and shipped to America where a computer generated image called a “clincheck” shows a predicted end result before the aligners are made. From the clincheck we can see how many aligners are needed and how long the treatment will be and give an accurate quote.
